Notification of lease
This form may be used to notify retail premises leases to the Small Business Commissioner, as required under S 25 of the Retail Leases Act.
S 25 provides that, within 14 days of signing by all parties of a retail lease, or the lease being renewed, the lease or renewal must be notified by the landlord to the Small Business Commissioner.
Where a landlord wishes to lodge beyond 14 days of signing, application should be made in writing to the Small Business Commissioner providing details as set out in this form, and an explanation of the circumstances warranting agreement by the Small Business Commissioner to the application.
Before submitting the information you have entered you will have an opportunity to review it, and make amendments if necessary. Note that, for technical reasons, the form must be submitted within 30 minutes of being opened.
